CHRISTMAS AT THE FRONT: A Holy Celebration at War

Have a merry, merry lecture with a delightful analysis of Christmas at the front over the ages. Discover the origins of the holiday and the unorthodox ways used by soldiers to celebrate the birth of Jesus on the battlefield: through a medieval tradition, the Christmas tree, the soldiers' dinner, Santa Claus, and the famous 1914 truce. A unique and magical story, not to be missed.
The lecture will last about 75-80 minutes and will be followed by 30 minutes of questions and answers/comments.
